We did it!!! 60 miles in 60 days! And I am so so glad we stuck it out. Deepu is like a different kid! He is sleeping more and throwing WAY less tantrums. Now I’m sure him being 2 months older then when we started doesn’t hurt either, but I guarantee all the walking helped too!
Beat our goal by 10 miles!! Go Us!
And all this walking (plus some help from Babes in Disneyland) inspired me to participate in the CHOC Walk in the Park this October. The walk benefits the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and it is being held at Disneyland. So that means, I get to raise money for an amazing cause at the coolest place ever!
And speaking of raising money, if you’d like to help me reach my fund-raising goal I would beyond appreciate it! Just CLICK HERE and donate away. Even $1 helps!
I decided to join Maegan and start my own 365 project. So, that means, in the next year (365 days! ) I have to take a picture a day. I am so excited about this… Besides making me a better photographer, I’m hoping it will help me see the beauty in everyday things. I was thinking of starting tomorrow, but then I came upon this-
Hubbs taking care of my two sick babies. Is he the best dad EVAH, or what?
Now, no promises that I’ll have each picture blogged on the day I took it, but I will post them all!
Wanna play along? Make sure you link up with Maegan!
Last week was Didi’s 4th Birthday!!! We’ve been busy around here lately, so sorry for the late post…. I’ll try to make up for it with adorable pictures!
Just Born Didi!
Didi’s 1st Birthday Party

The Princess with her Princess Cake!
Can’t believe you are such a big girl!! I love you to the moon and back baby girl!
Can someone explain why Sarah Palin would walk up to a person holding a “Worst Governor Ever” sign? Did she really think that conversation was going to go well? And the best is 1:08, SP asks what the woman does for a living, she responds that she is a teacher, & SP actually rolls her eyes!
We’ve been spending a lot of time at Disneyland lately and it is so much fun. I love how excited the kids get over just about everything there!
We had our first entire family teacup ride on the last day of our mini vacation and it was hilarious. Hubbs kept telling us all he was going to make us barf and I think Deepu took him seriously.
As Deepu would say- “YIIIIIKES!”
Even after we made Hubbs stop spinning, he still wasn’t quite enjoying the ride.
This weekend was Scott Kelby’s 3rd Annual World Wide Photo Walk and I was clickin’ it in San Pedro. It was my first time in the area and I absolutely loved the Korean Friendship Bell. The colors, the view, the cool dudes that “stand guard”- it’s awesome!
Besides hubbs (LAZY!) we’ve been doing great on our 60 miles in 60 Days Challenge. Didi went to stay with Nanimaa for a week, but I’m sure they were getting plenty of exercise and I know we were! It’s been 23 days and we’ve gone almost 26 miles!! Hopefully we will be able to keep up the pace and finish with more then 60 miles completed!
I also started (or, I guess, re-started) the Wii Active 30 Day Challenge. I tried a while ago, on medium…. after 3 days I could barely move and on the 5th day I fell down the stairs and hurt my hip & shoulder. (I’ve never been so happy to be injured!) But now I’m all healed up and there’s really no excuse not to try again… on easy this time!!
Stay at home mommy in sunny southern California. I've got the greatest family EVER, even if they do force me to consume seriously ridiculous amounts of chocolate. :D For more info then you could ever want to know about me CLICK HERE! Send me an E-mail!
Hubbs
The man in my life. Super Dad, PS3 addict, sports lover, alcohol connoisseur. And yes, he does know how lucky he is to have me!
Didi
The big sister. 3 going on 13. She's got the biggest heart ever and she can seriously talk your ear off. Also, thinks she is a Princess!
Deepu
2. Finally gave up the binky... next battle: potty training! He has perfected the karate chop and "gimmie that or die" scream. Darn cute, though.
